While the community of Uvalde slowly heals following the tragedy at Robb Elementary School, there are new stories of resilience and hope as a new school year begins.

The Uvalde Resiliency Center was established almost immediately following the horrific events that happened at Robb Elementary, being temporarily set up at the Uvalde County Fairplex.

Uvalde CISD students are heading back to school on Sept. 6 and it’ll be their first day back in class after the horrific Robb Elementary mass shooting. And it’s something Santa Fe ISD has already lived through.
