The San Antonio Independent School District closed 15 schools at the end of the school year as part of its “rightsizing” plan. Mark Twain Dual Language Academy is one of the campuses that will add more students to its roster because of those closures.

The San Antonio ISD community is actively trying to get the neighborhoods involved in what happens to the buildings left empty following the district’s “Rightsizing” plan.

Students at 15 schools set to close can accept their new designated school or choose the campus of their choice. However, SAISD said the decision must be made by this Thursday.
