Every day, thousands of large trucks and tractor-trailers travel busy Texas highways, weighing 20 times more than an average car. A good rule of thumb for motorists to remember is that if they canāt see the truck driver in the truckās side mirror, that truck driver canāt see them or their vehicle either. Drive Smartā is part of the End the Streak Texas program. TxDOT is asking all Texans to commit to driving safely to help end the streak of daily deaths on Texas roadways.
