Neighbors are looking to a new city task force to address their public health concerns.

The city says a salvage yard on the Southwest Side with a history of code violations is in the clear of losing its license after staying in compliance for six months.

Neighbors have reported big fires and black smoke from salvage yards in their communities. They've called for change, and the city has said it's taking action.
