The funeral of The Pogues frontman Shane MacGowan has taken place in Ireland, attended by family, neighbors and friends including Johnny Depp and Nick Cave.

Shane MacGowan, the boozy, rabble-rousing singer and chief songwriter of The Pogues, who infused traditional Irish music with the energy and spirit of punk, has died.
