Authorities said they found another motorcyclist injured in the median between the main lanes of eastbound Loop 410 and the access road. The crash site on Loop 410 was closed as emergency crews worked.

SAN ANTONIO San Antonio police are investigating after gunshots were fired at a West Side home early Tuesday morning. The incident occurred around 2 a.m. at a home in the 2000 block of Vera Cruz, not far from South Zarzamora Street and Guadalupe Street. The homeowner said someone fired shots into his house and also shot out the light on his front porch. One of the shots went into his 2-year-old sons room, but he wasnt there, he said. The homeowner said he previously had noticed someone attempting to shoot out a street light near his house, but that the gun appeared to jam.

SAN ANTONIO – Arson investigators are trying to determine the cause of a house fire just west of downtown late Wednesday night. The fire was called in just after 9 p.m. at a home in the 1500 block of Southwest 19th Street, not far from South Zarzamora Street and Castroville Road. Firefighters said they arrived to find the single story home fully-involved. Fire officials said a firefighter was taken to an area hospital with a minor burn to the hand. The cause of the fire is not known.
