KSAT Community is partnering with the San Antonio Food Bank in the Spurs Cafe - Spurs Give Together Fund" as the need for food assistance continues to grow in San Antonio amid the COVID-19 pandemic. In May, Spurs Give and The Tim Duncan Foundation matched donations of $200,000 to the San Antonio Food Bank as part of the new Spurs Caf initiative. Spurs Cafe is a new initiative to utilize restaurants to prepare meals to those in need in San Antonio. The economic crisis created by the COVID-19 pandemic has brought more than a hundred thousand new individuals to the brink of hunger," Eric S. Cooper, President and CEO, San Antonio Food Bank.
