Stripes will also release a limited-time purple Slurpee flavor that consists of sour cherry, lime and salt, which were Selena’s favorite childhood flavors. “I am excited that Stripes and our family can finally share the final two 2020 Selena Cups in the 25th Year Collection with her fans,” Suzette Quintanilla, Selena’s sister, said in a news release. According to Carlito Miranda, Perez’s manager, someone reached out to Perez on social media after a recent visit to the museum. SAN ANTONIO – A tribute concert honoring Selena’s legacy has been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The day-long concert, which was supposed to be held on May 9 at the Alamodome, would have featured Pitbull, Los Tucanes de Tijuana, A.B. WATCH: ‘Siempre Selena’ - A KSAT12 SpecialSuzette Quintanilla, CEO and president of Q Productions, said Monday that it will be canceled entirely. “After carefully reviewing all the options during these challenging times, the decision has been made to cancel the Selena XXV Tribute Concert," she said in a news release. Q Productions and San Antonio city leaders announced the event back in February.
