Police officers in Seguin are searching for a person tied to three catalytic converter thefts in one night outside Texas Lutheran University.

SEGUIN – Even with numerous delays and cancellations, the TLU Bulldogs still get to play football this Spring, and they have the same high expectations as they always do under first-year head coach Ricky Matt. The Bulldogs are currently 2-1 and will host McMurry next Saturday in Seguin at 2 p.m. No spectators will be allowed to attend.

SAN ANTONIO Former TLU head football coach Danny Padron is back on the practice field at Antonian high school, leading the Apaches through workouts in preparation for the upcoming season.

SOMERSET On Wednesday, Somerset graduate, Hunter Hernandez, signed his National Letter of Intent to pay football for TLU. His senior year, the running back rushed for over 1800 yards and 11 touchdowns. Hernandez played in the San Antonio All-American Bowl, where he had seven carries for 107 yards and a score.

TLU is looking bring their new-found swagger into their new conference for the 2017 season.
