Preparations were underway early Friday morning for the 41st Tejano Conjunto Festival, which will take place this weekend at Rosedale Park.

San Antonio is celebrating 40 years of the Tejano Cojunto Festival and is attracting over 10,000 music lovers.

SAN ANTONIO – Another popular festival has been canceled. The Tejano Conjunto Festival, which was supposed to take place May 13-17 at the Guadalupe Theater and Rosedale Park, was officially canceled on Wednesday, the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center announced. Every year the popular festival draws thousands of fans to listen to over 30 of the most popular and emerging bands. The official poster winners of the 39th annual Tejano Conjunto Festival in San Antonio were revealed Wednesday. In addition to the overall winner, there were four major categories, including middle school, high school, college and open.
