The Texas Cavaliers on Tuesday will reveal the theme, medal and celebrity grand marshal for 2025’s river parade.

The Texas Cavaliers partnered with the Southwest School of Art for the contest that invited students in first through fifth grades to submit their interpretation of this year’s River Parade theme of “Texas Al Fresco.”
It may be chilly outside, but the Texas Cavaliers heated things up on Thursday morning with details about the 2022 Fiesta event.

Steve Rosenauer, executive director of the Fiesta San Antonio Commission, said, “It definitely hurts not to be able to do Fiesta.”Even so, they said, their organizations are still actively trying to fulfill their commitments to the other nonprofits that rely on money generated by Fiesta events. Yet now, he said the Fiesta San Antonio Foundation will begin a two-week fundraising campaign, Because of San Antonio.
