More than 40 suspected members and associates of the Venezuelan transnational gang Tren De Aragua (TdA) were taken into custody on Tuesday in Hays County, according to a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) news release.

A federal indictment has charged eight individuals, including a San Antonio resident, with operating a human trafficking ring that exploited women from Central and South America and transporting them to the U.S. for prostitution.
