Several news organizations, including The Associated Press, USA Today, CNBC and The Washington Post, had reported the original press release as real news, some after being assured specifically that it was no joke. It was a similar story at USA Today, where a reporter specifically asked if it was a joke and was told โno,โ said the newspaper's spokeswoman, Chrissy Terrell. โWe are disheartened that the company would choose this type of disingenuous marketing.โThe USA Today reporter who was initially lied to was more blunt. โAbout that plan to change Volkswagen of America's name.โ wrote USA Today's Mike Snider. AdGlover said the company landed millions of dollars in publicity from a press release.

According to a recent report from USA Today, Thanksgiving Day marked the 252nd consecutive day of work for Dr. Joseph Varon, pictured in the viral image. Dr. Varon is seen in the viral photo wearing full protective gear as he embraces an elderly COVID-19 patient. Report: Fauci says Santa Claus has immunity to COVID-19, will still bring holiday cheer this year
NORTH BETHESDA, Maryland โ Dr. Anthony Fauci is telling families across the nation not to worry about Santa Claus this year, saying he is immune to the coronavirus and will be a-okay on Christmas Day. โSanta is exempt from this because Santa, of all the good qualities, has a lot of good innate immunity,โ Fauci said in the interview. โSanta is not going to be spreading any infections to anybody,โ Fauci said. San Antonio โ The graduation rate for Hispanic students has climbed steadily and according to a USA Today report, more Hispanic students than ever are going to college. The National Hispanic Institute is one organization that is making sure Latino youth have a voice beyond their high school education. The San Antonio chapter of the organization works in partnership with over 50 schools in the city and its surrounding areas.
