The organizationās newest branch, the āDeported Veterans Advocacy Project,ā created the Unified U.S. Deported Veterans Resource Center in Tijuana, Mexico, to be the first line of help for military veterans that have been deported. āThere is no mystery as to why weāre here, that weāre strategically located at this point so that we can intercept veterans that are being deported,ā Robert Vivar with the Unified U.S. Deported Veterans office told KSAT.
