He said the BCSO has not verified if Sijifredo Montemayor is actually in custody. Some family members were taken into custody, but Salazar says it’s unclear if they will face any charges. Officials are still trying to figure out if any family members who lived in the home helped Sijifredo Montemayor escape to Mexico.
