San Antonio police say a 22-year-old man was driving in the section of that construction zone where five lanes of traffic suddenly are narrowed down to only two. It appears the driver didn’t notice the construction barrels until it was too late, according to one investigator at the scene. (KSAT 12 News)The man’s car veered across all lanes of traffic, jumped a sidewalk and crashed through the backyard fence of a home. The traffic stop happened near Wurzbach Parkway and Exchange Parkway. During the stop, the sheriffs office said deputies discovered a cardboard box containing the drugs. Jay Haggard, 34, was also arrested for Possession with Intent to Distribute 500 Grams or More of Methamphetamine, BCSO said. According to BCSO, Haggard and Hernandez are documented gang members and Hernandez is currently on federal probation for a previous drug-related conviction.
