The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) is again protesting the actions of state Attorney General Ken Paxton. Members gathered outside Paxton’s San Antonio office Saturday morning with signs and chants.

The suspect was captured by surveillance cameras approaching a dumpster several times shortly after 6:30 a.m. Wednesday. The footage, which can be viewed in the media player at the top of this article, shows the dumpster erupting in flames just before 7 a.m.

AUSTIN – Late last year, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton fired multiple senior aides who accused him of accepting a bribe. In return, the aides allege, Paxton used his office to help Paul’s business interests, investigate Paul’s adversaries and help settle a lawsuit. Angela Paxton’s office declined comment for this story. According to the filing, Paxton also directed top aides to issue a legal opinion that would help Paul’s business interests. Weeks after the whistleblowers reported Paxton for his behavior, two of the plaintiffs were placed on leave before being terminated.
