Police said the male driver of the sedan was stuck inside his car and had to be rescued by firefighters. Investigators say they believe the driver was speeding when he crashed into the ambulance. The ambulance driver, the woman, and the driver of the sedan all were taken to University Hospital with various injuries. The San Antonio Police Department, the San Antonio Fire Department, and EMS all answered the call.

The crash was reported near Babcock and Hamilton Wolfe Friday morning around 9 a.m. The bus had one driver and one student on board, Northside ISD spokesperson Barry Perez said. The high school student was not injured and was taken to school. The driver was taken to a medical clinic as a precaution, but no life-threatening injuries were reported, Perez said.

The crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. in the 13900 block of Babcock Road, not far from UTSA Boulevard and Loop 1604. According to police, the driver for an unknown reason lost control and crashed, just before fleeing the scene. The San Antonio Police Department, the San Antonio Fire Department, the UTSA Police Department and EMS all answered the call. Investigators did not say what, if any, charges are expected to be filed against the driver should they be located.

Officers were called around 3:30 a.m. to the 1600 block of Babcock Road, after receiving word of someone injured. According to police, the victim had showed up at a get together at the Star Inn Hotel near Ingram Road and Loop 410 and told people there that he had been shot. Police said someone tried to drive the man to a hospital, but pulled over in a Golds Gym parking lot on Babcock Road to call for help. The victim was taken by EMS to University Hospital for his injuries.

The incident occurred just before 2 a.m. at a 7-Eleven store in the 6400 block of Babcock Road, not far from DeZavala Road and Interstate 10. According to police, the man walked into the store and threatened the cashier, claiming to have a gun. Police said the man, however, never brandished the gun to the cashier. Authorities said officers and the Eagle helicopter searched the area for the man, but that they were unable to locate him.
