It seems like more and more people are heading back to the office in some capacity, and it probably felt a little bit foreign for those who haven’t seen their co-workers in real life in more than a year.

According to a recent study by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, those receiving benefits “search intensely for new work, and their effort appears to be somewhat greater than that of the unemployed not receiving benefits.”

SAN ANTONIO – The Brooks Virtual Job Fair is set to take place on Wednesday morning. As of now, there are 59 registered business and 537 registered job seekers. Job seekers will have the chance to meet with employers, view job descriptions, and submit their resumes. SAN ANTONIO – Millions of Americans around the country are dealing with unemployment and as Texas begins to reopen, there is a new local initiative to help get people back to work. It’s a new partnership between Work Force Solutions Alamo, San Antonio Works and Brooks. Now, Workforce Solutions Alamo is teaming up with Brooks and San Antonio Works to get as many people in our community back on their feet as possible. A lot of people in and around San Antonio may also need help with the technology aspect, so that’s what some local computers are used for.
