CIBOLO, Texas The Cibolo Police Department is investigating the cause of 18-wheeler being hit by a train early Monday morning. The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. on railroad tracks at Country Lane and FM 78, not far from Haeckerville Road. According to police, the big rig was high centered on the railroad tracks when it was struck by the train. Authorities say to avoid the area as emergency crews work at the scene. Police did not say how long it will be until the area reopens.

HOUSTON – Authorities in Houston are investigating the cause of an explosion at a bar early Friday morning. According to KSAT12′s sister station KPRC, several people reportedly heard the explosion at Bar 5015 around 4:45 a.m.Reports say the cause was likely a gas explosion and that debris is scattered down the street and up a block from the bar, which is located on Almeda Road. SAN ANTONIO – Officials with the Kirby Fire Department are investigating the cause of a blaze that ripped through a converted garage Friday morning. Firefighters were called just before 7 a.m. to a house in the 4800 block of Scott Carpenter Drive, according to an assistant chief with KFD at the scene. At first, firefighters were not sure where the fire was located until they found flames inside a converted garage, officials said. Everyone inside the home was able to exit and no one was injured. Arson investigators were called to the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
