In addition to roller coasters and experiences with marine mammals, visitors will also have the chance to learn about wild animals rescued by SeaWorld through the park’s “Wild Days Celebration.”The Wild Days Celebration kicks off Jan. 9 and continues through the last day of the month. Chuck Cureau, a spokesperson for SeaWorld San Antonio, said the celebration is meant to engage the public on the parks’ mission to protect animals. “It’s part of our mission to protect animals and to act on behalf of those animals,” Cureau said. Penguins are typically characterized as cute, tuxedo-wearing birds who can’t fly but their sneezes aren’t as adorable as one might think. SeaWorld San Antonio sent KSAT a video of several resident Gentoo and chinstrap penguins sneezing prompted by a visitor who asked if the birds sneeze.
