SAN ANTONIO A man in his 50s was shot in the leg during an attempted vehicle theft outside his home early Thursday morning, San Antonio police said. According to police, the man had walked outside his home to find the suspect sitting in his truck while it was running. Thats when, police said, the man yelled at the suspect to get out of his vehicle and words were exchanged. Police said the suspect shot at the man and fled on a bicycle. The San Antonio Police Department, the San Antonio Fire Department, and EMS all answered the call.
