"Texas Eats,” a spin-off of the ever-popular “SA Live,” which has won in the ratings race since the first day it launched nearly 5 years ago, will launch on Saturday, January 4, 2020. "Texas Eats” is the brainchild of “SA Live’s” foodie David Elder. "We don’t want ‘Texas Eats’ to be just another cooking show. She created KSAT’s South Texas PRIDE series in February of 2018, and was nominated for a GLAAD award and was named Pride Center Media Icon during its inaugural ceremony in 2019 for her work on the series.
