SAN ANTONIO – A 36-year-old man was fatally shot at a home on the city’s East Side early Thursday morning, San Antonio police said. According to police, officers arrived to find an unresponsive man wounded from a gunshot on the front doorstep of the home. The wounded man was taken to an area hospital by EMS, where he later died. Investigators said no one was found inside the house, but that they discovered additional shell casings inside. While canvassing the neighborhood officers located the victim’s vehicle still with the engine running.
