In need of a doughnut deflation? As an effort to sweeten the pain of the gas pump, Krispy Kreme is pricing its classic dozen doughnuts for the national cost of a gallon of gas.

If there’s anything better than a fresh, hot doughnut, it’s getting that doughnut delivered to your doorstep. Starting Saturday, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is offering delivery. Orders can be placed on the Krispy Kreme app or website. To celebrate the new service, Krispy Kreme will deliver 5 dozen original glazed doughnuts to hospitals, health professionals and parents on Leap Day. Krispy Kreme will choose the recipients from people who post on Instagram or Twitter about their Leap Day ‘special delivery’ and tag @KrispyKreme with the hashtag #KrispyKremeSpecialDelivery.

Krispy Kreme has collaborated with Butterfinger for two new doughnuts. The second new doughnut is a Butterfinger Fudge Cake Doughnut that is a rich chocolate cake doughnut dipped in chocolate icing, topped with peanut butter chocolate kreme and Butterfinger pieces. You can get a dozen original glazed doughnuts from Krispy Kreme for $1 Thursday with the purchase of any other dozen at regular price. It's the "Day of the Dozens" promotion that falls on December 12 each year. There is a limit of two $1 boxes per customer.
