According to police, the girl had been playing in a shallow wading pool alongside the main pool at a family gathering. At some point, the girl made her way to the main pool. KERRVILLE – A 34-year-old man’s body was found after an apparent drowning after witnesses reported suspicious activity in Kerrville, police said. The Kerrville Police Department reported that officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Town Creek Road on Wednesday. “Officers located a nearby vehicle and were unable to locate an individual associated with the property or vehicle,” Kerrville police said in a news release. Kerrville police, along with the Kerrville Fire Department’s Technical Rescue Team, searched extensively for Bode, officials said. “On the morning of June 11, 2020, the search of the Town Creek area resumed.”Police said Bode's body was discovered by dive team personnel.

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – A 40-year-old man has died after swimming in the Guadalupe River, according to the New Braunfels Police Department. After arriving on scene, the victim, Chad Aaron Maples, of Arlington, was seen struggling in the water upriver before he disappeared underwater, officials said. Bystanders found Maples and pulled him onto a rock in the middle of the river. Police officers went into the water and pulled him to shore before beginning life-saving measures.
