Officers were called around 1:30 a.m. to the Days Inn by Wyndham San Antonio Alamo/Riverwalk in the 900 block of East Houston Street after receiving reports of a shooting. According to police, the woman was staying at the motel and was in the parking lot when three cars pulled into the lot. That’s when, police said, three individuals got out of their cars and an argument with the woman ensued. The woman tried to get up and one of the suspects pulled out a gun and shot her in the left shoulder, police said.

According to police, another vehicle pulled up to the victim’s car while near AT&T Parkway and Belgium Lane and fired several shots, striking the teen three times in the back. Police said a passenger inside the victim’s vehicle was not injured and did not recognize the suspects. Authorities say the passenger told them that the suspects fled in a white or silver vehicle following the shooting. Both the driver and the passenger said they had no idea as to why someone would shoot at them, police said.

Water quality testing submitted to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality confirmed that tap water meets all regulatory standards and is safe to drink.
