The family of a young construction worker who was killed in a crash due to another driver’s reckless actions says they are praying for the suspect in their quest for justice.

Balerie Sanchez said her son, Jerry Sanchez, 36, had many plans in his life. He was always worried about me and was actually working hard to get his own place, and he said he wanted me to move in with him. “He was trying very hard to change his life so he would be able to see his kids,” Sanchez said. “I broke down because when I got there, there was only one officer, and I told him I thought the person found was my son,” Sanchez said.

It was actually one of the victims who told me there was another man still inside the plane, said Michael Urdiales, Salass boyfriend. Someone said it in Spanish and was saying the plane was popping and that they thought it was going to explode, Urdiales said.
