SAPD said jersey barriers, debris, oil and diesel also spilled onto the main lanes of eastbound I-10. Salazar said Curtis Perry was probably killed violently at another location and then brought to a property in the 300 block of Holmgreen, where the search for remains is being conducted. He said investigators found evidence of what he called a “narcotics enterprise,” firearms and stolen vehicles on the property. Salazar said that a BCSO command truck will be brought onto the property and that deputies will be on site 24/7. He said the search warrant allows the agency to investigate on the property for at least two days, maybe longer.

The chase ended at I-10 and Foster Road, where the suspects vehicle collided with a VIA Transit van and a pickup truck. The passenger in the suspects vehicle suffered injuries that were not life-threatening. The Sheriffs Office said that the two people in the VIA Transit Van suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene. The driver of the vehicle is facing evading arrest charges, and other charges are pending, the Sheriffs Office said.
