GonzƔlez Convention Center and the Tower of the Americas will light up in red. Businesses across the city are encouraged to light up in red if possible. Light the Night for Fallen Firefighters will take place across the country until Sunday. The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation created the Light the Night event in 2017.

Thousands showed their support during the saloonās fundraiser for fallen firefighter Scott Deem almost two years ago. Cooler that will be raffled off in a silent auction during a fundraiser benefiting the family of fallen San Antonio firefighter Greg Garza.
