She create a contest through her social media accounts asking for people to nominate a deserving local nurse. Frost would select a winner and give them a gift basket filled with products from local business. She ended up with about 25 companies, donating about $1500 worth of gifts. There were many deserving nominations but one really stuck out.

Now their manufacturer has announced a program to donate 10,000 a day to healthcare workers fighting against the novel coronavirus. Crocs said it is delivering some shipments straight to hospitals and other facilities, but that it is allowing workers to sign up for the free shoes by going to www.crocs.com/freeforhealthcare. It said it will continue to donate the shoes as long as supplies last. “These workers have our deepest respect, and we are humbled to be able to answer their call and provide whatever we can to help during this unprecedented time.”
