He was then placed on a ventilator, given a plasma donation and Remdesivir while he was in the hospital. “I can tell I’m still getting stronger and stronger every day,” he said. Vine said he couldn’t stay away from his work for too long. “Leaving the house, coming back kind of thing, and also -- simple as driving my car,” Vine said.

Justin Vine was hospitalized on June 30 at Northeast Baptist Hospital after testing positive for COVID-19. Vine’s wife said he was placed on a ventilator, given a plasma donation and remdesivir. Vine is still in the hospital but has since recovered from COVID-19. He said he is scheduled to start rehab on Thursday and looks forward to seeing his children when he gets out of the hospital.

As soon as he got home, he gets rid of the clothes, takes a shower and then starts spending time with us. He was taking all the precautions, said Esther Aguayo, Justin Vines wife. Aguayo said she took her husband to Northeast Baptist Hospital on June 30, where he tested positive for COVID-19. Aguayo says her husband loves not only his family but also his job and working with children.
