My family is out of quarantine 14 days after my son began having a fever.

She said she wanted to check for the flu and then asked if I would like to do a COVID test. It wasn’t the notorious COVID test that involves sticking the swab up your nose to nearly tickle your scalp. Then she checked my son’s COVID test result. My son’s symptoms mostly subsided the day after his first positive test. My husband has had no symptoms 7 days, and now 21 hours and 6 minutes, into quarantine.

Sometimes you need people who understand, said Alexsis Page, a KSAT producer. Having a diverse newsroom forms a conversation inside the newsroom, more education inside the newsroom, Gray said. Its the goal of a new digital KSAT show were launching this week. KSAT Explains will debut with an episode focused on the unrest weve seen across the country, a look at how protests have played out in our city and an examination of what it means to be Black in San Antonio.

SAN ANTONIO Veteran KSAT anchor Myra Arthur will return to KSAT Wednesday as she heads back to work after the birth of her second child. Its bittersweet when maternity leave ends. What did Myra enjoy most about maternity leave? Before her maternity leave, Arthur was reporting and anchoring KSATs 6 p.m. newscast and the digital-only News at 9. Living in the Hill Country will make social distancing a little easier for KSAT’s David Sears. David is relaxing at home this week after his vacation was canceled due to the novel coronavirus. He told GMSA @ 9 that he and his wife were planning on visiting their grandchildren in Alabama.
