A cold front is heading in our direction and as it gets closer, showers and a few storms will develop this morning and early afternoon, KSAT12 Meteorologist Mike Osterhage said. The cold front will move through the Hill Country around lunch time, and then into San Antonio around 2 p.m. or so, Osterhage said. High temperatures this week have been averaging about 5 degrees above normal, with temperatures right around 90 degrees, KSAT Meteorologist Mike Osterhage said. That’ll be about 10 degrees above normal, but a few degrees below the record of 98 degrees, Osterhage said. On top of that, San Antonio has never seen 100 degrees in October, but that will also be within reach.
