Police officers in Montgomery, Alabama, took an 8-year-old boy into custody who they said was responsible for a carjacking and pursuit.

Two San Antonio police officers suffered minor injuries from barbed wire on Monday morning while chasing a burglary suspect through woods on the West Side, according to police.

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police officers who were called out for a stabbing late Thursday found an illegal gambling room instead. Police said officers discovered the gambling room around 10 p.m. at a building in the 1800 block of Bandera Road. About 19 people were at the establishment at the time officers arrived. Police said at least two people were detained for warrants, and others were given citations. The investigation remains ongoing.

UVALDE, Texas – Several Uvalde police officers who may have possibly been exposed to the coronavirus are under quarantine. According to the Uvalde Police Department Facebook page, the department is taking precautionary measures by having the officers quarantined. Test results are pending. According the Facebook post, the department is following and practicing CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of the public and staff. Currently, the city of Uvalde has no confirmed positive cases.
