SAN ANTONIO – Arson investigators believe a fire in a West Side home was started by a man who was angry with his girlfriend. They say they determined that a couple had been fighting shortly before the fire broke out and that the man had set the fire intentionally. The man already was gone by the time firefighters arrived. The woman made it out of the home safely, but firefighters say a dog died in the fire. The home appeared to have smoke damage throughout it, as well as fire damage on the exterior.
