SAN ANTONIO – Methodist Hospital Stone Oak is transferring some patients Wednesday night due to low water pressure on some of the hospital floors. Patients on the 4th and 5th floors of the hospital are being transferred to other Methodist facilities, a spokesperson confirmed because water pressure is limited on those floors. Therefore, current care teams will be joining transferred patients to ensure their continuity of care. Patients remaining in the hospital on lower level floors will continue to receive the highest level of care, unaffected by current water pressure challenges.”AdSAWS on Wednesday afternoon issued a boil water advisory for its customers. SAWS President and CEO Robert Puente said the boil water notice comes out of “an abundance of caution” due to low water pressure and said that only water used for drinking needed to be boiled.

SAN ANTONIO – After being arrested in San Antonio Sunday for his alleged role in the deadly pro-Trump Capitol riot on Jan. 6, Matthew Carl Mazzocco made his first federal court appearance on Tuesday. The hearing was held virtually and United States Magistrate Judge Henry Bemporad presided. During the hearing, Mazzocco, 37, who was represented by attorney Robbie Ward, was read his charges. In the videos, Mazzocco could be heard telling other people who stormed the Capitol not to take or destroy anything. Mazzocco was employed with Synergy One Lending, Inc., as a loan officer but was recently fired, KSAT confirmed.

SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio man has been arrested by the FBI after he allegedly participated in the Capitol insurrection in Washington D.C. on Jan. 6. Matthew Carl Mazzocco, 37, was arrested Sunday in San Antonio without incident, according to San Antonio FBI public affairs officer Michelle Lee. He is charged with knowingly entering or remaining in a restricted building or grounds without lawful authority and violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds. Mazzocco is expected to appear in federal court Tuesday in San Antonio. A second Texas man was arrested Sunday for his involvement in the insurrection.

The driver of the Infinity, identified as 36-year-old Natalie Chapman, was found to be intoxicated and arrested on a charge of intoxication assault, according to SAPD.

The crash happened Saturday morning at 1200 N Loop 1604. SAN ANTONIO – A driver who was killed in a crash during wet weather in north San Antonio earlier this week has been identified. The victim was identified Friday as Joel Bustamante, 26, by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office. According to police, two vehicles hydroplaned in the wet weather prior to the crash on Wednesday morning. Bustamante lost control and crashed into those vehicles, causing a chain reaction, police said. The westbound lanes of Loop 1604 were closed for several hours.

SAN ANTONIO – A 26-year-old man was killed in an accident along Loop 1604 on the North Side Wednesday morning. San Antonio police responded to the wreck around 6 a.m. on the westbound lanes of Loop 1604 near Stone Oak Parkway before Highway 281. The driver lost control and crashed into the other vehicles, causing a chain reaction, police said. The westbound lanes of Loop 1604 were closed during the investigation, but have since reopened, according to the Texas Department of Transportation. A major accident has been reported on Loop 1604 near Blanco Road on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2020.

SAN ANTONIO A husband and wife found dead in an apparent murder-suicide at a Stone Oak-area home have been identified. Gabriella and Joseph Albright, ages 55 and 67, were killed before 1 p.m. Wednesday at a home in the 800 block of Windhurst in The Peak at Promontory on San Antonios North Side, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiners Office. The department did not disclose their causes or manners of death, but San Antonio police said a relative found them with gunshot wounds. Jennifer Rodriguez, a police spokesperson, said the relative went to check on one of the residents after not hearing from them. SAPD on Thursday named Joseph Albright as the gunman and said he was found with the handgun.

SAN ANTONIO San Antonio police are investigating a suspected murder-suicide after finding a husband and wife dead of gunshot wounds on Wednesday at a home in the Stone Oak area. A relative had called police after not hearing from one of the residents for more than a day, Rodriguez said. Inside the home, police found a 55-year-old woman and her husband, who both appeared to die of gunshot wounds. Neighbors did not report hearing gunshots, and police have never been called to the home before. Rodriguez said investigators will continue talking to neighbors and relatives in an effort to get answers for the victims loved ones.

The woman called 911 around 8:20 a.m. Tuesday, saying the man had been shot at La Quinta at Hardy Oak Boulevard and Loop 1604, according to SAPD. He was rushed to a hospital in critical condition where he later died, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office. SAN ANTONIO – A woman is accused of stealing car keys from an H-E-B shopper’s purse while a male suspect kept watch. Belinda Alvarado, 47, and Peter Carreon, 45, are each facing a charge of theft of a vehicle, according to their arrest affidavits. According to San Antonio police, surveillance video showed the victim “briefly” turn her back on her shopping cart, which was holding her purse. Surveillance video showed Alvarado and Carreon driving off in the Buick, according to records. On Oct. 11, both suspects were caught driving a separate stolen vehicle, police said.

SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio woman is warning others after she says a man tried to abduct her at Target off TPC Parkway and Highway 281 in Stone Oak. Maria Rios said the alleged abduction attempt took place at 1:40 p.m. on Tuesday, according to a police report she filed with the San Antonio Police Department. Man accused of driving wrong way, hitting SAPD patrol car, 3 new vehicles at dealershipPublished: December 26, 2019, 12:32 pmA man is accused of driving the wrong way on a Stone Oak street and ramming a San Antonio police officer’s SUV before pulling into a car dealership and striking three new vehicles.

The incident began around 11:45 p.m. Sunday at the Club at Stone Oak Apartments on Hardy Oak Boulevard, not far from Stone Oak Parkway on the city’s far North Side. That’s when, police said, Summers held hostage a 52-year-old woman and an 8-year-old child, refusing to allow them to leave. Authorities said SWAT negotiators were called and that the woman was ultimately able to get out of the apartment safely by going through an apartment window. A police sergeant said roughly 20 minutes into negotiations with the man he then jumped out of the same apartment window, trying to run from the scene. Neither the woman nor the child held hostage were injured in the incident.

"Code Ninjas is a place where kids, ages 7 to 14, can come here and learn how to code their own video games," said Jennifer Block. She and her husband decided to open the Stone Oak Code Ninjas location after deciding they needed a change for their son. Kids who join Code Ninjas start off as a white belt, and work their way up to black belt. To advance from belt to belt, kids follow a set curriculum.
