According to a new study on studyfinds.com, about one-third of people communicate less with their family members and friends because they can follow them on social media. Nearly 60% of those in the study viewed a friend as having a better life because of what they posted on social media while more than 60% of social media users feel worse after finding out someone โunfriendedโ them online. SAPD: Teens steal car on cityโs South Side, then wreck and run
SAN ANTONIO โ San Antonio police say two teens who may not have been old enough to drive caused a wreck on the cityโs South Side Friday morning that has left two adults paying for the damage. She said the two teens took her by surprise and took off with the car. โI told that (clerk) I just had a weird feeling.โPolice tracked down the stolen car after the teen driver crashed at Southcross and Tupper. He said the teens in the stolen car ran a stop sign and clipped the back end of his pickup. Itโs not even a day yet, itโs a morning,โ said the stolen car victim.
Black womens advocacy group focuses on teen domestic violence
A report from the National Center for Victims of Crime found that 53.8% of black women had experienced psychological abuse, and 41.2% of black women had experienced physical abuse. "Domestic violence or teen violence is usually replicated because they've seen it somewhere else. If you are in a domestic violence relationship, we don't want you to have to self identify."
