Santa Claus is coming to Traders Village — but he’ll still maintain six feet of social distance. Traders Village announced it will continue holiday celebrations in the Coronavirus Age with a “Contactless Country Christmas” every weekend throughout December. “We really wanted to make visiting Santa special this year, but not take away the magic of Santa,” Billeck said. The event will take place at Traders Hall on Dec. 5, 6, 12, 19 and 20. Admission into Traders Village is free, but photo packages start at $5.

Traders Village is debuting San Antonio’s first and only corn maze. The Corny Maze at Traders Village is the largest in South Texas, sitting at 10 acres. SAN ANTONIO – Although most events have been canceled due to the pandemic, fall festivities at Traders Village San Antonio are in full swing. The Corny Maze will remain open until the end of November at Traders Village San Antonio. “We created the maze primarily for families to come out, do something (fun) and create memories,” Brian Billeck, marketing manager of Traders Village San Antonio, said. Organizers of the Corny Maze said they wanted to provide a sense of normalcy through fall traditions. There’s a $5 upgrade charge for those wanting to enjoy the games inside Traders Village.

SAN ANTONIO – Although San Antonio city officials had prevented Traders Village San Antonio from reopening, the flea market will move forward with its plan to operate this weekend after receiving approval from Texas officials. As Traders Village San Antonio remains closed, state says flea markets may reopen“Based on this new confirmation, Traders Village San Antonio will be opening this weekend," Traders Village President Tim Anderson said in a statement. “We are all set with our plans for maintaining social distancing and approved occupancy.”Rides will not be operated, there will be no live music and limited food stands, according to the flea market’s news release. Vendors and customers are all asked to wear face masks to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
