An Eagle Pass man was arrested during a traffic stop on I-10 in Guadalupe County after authorities found over $1.2 million worth of Fentanyl stashed in his pickup truck.

Marijuana, cocaine and a handgun were found in a vehicle during a traffic stop earlier this week, leading to a man’s arrest, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.

A traffic stop in Castle Hills that resulted in the recovery of several stolen identification documents has prompted the city’s police department to warn residents about protecting themselves from identity theft.

Troopers stopped a wanted man by shooting out the tires on his truck Wednesday. The incident happened on Highway 16 near the Bexar-Atascosa county line. He was told to be on the lookout for the man, who was wanted on a felony warrant, Texas Department of Public Safety officials said. The trooper spotted the man and initiated a traffic stop, but the man didn't stop. DPS says troopers fired two rounds at the tires of the vehicle the man was driving, forcing him to stop.

Jose Ochoa, 40, and Ivan Lujan, 38, were arrested on a charge of possession of controlled substance and booked into the Comal County Jail. The vehicle was also seized and impounded at the Sheriff’s Office.
