The incident occurred around 12:45 a.m. in the 4800 block of West Military Drive, not far from Medina Base Road and Old Pearsall Road. According to police, two men got into an argument over money and allowing others to stay at a campsite. SAPD said the suspect cut the manās hand, nearly cutting off a finger. Officers found the victim not far from the camp at the intersection of Old Pearsall Road and Medina Base Road.

Officers were called around 11 p.m. to the 6800 block of West Military Drive, not far from Highway 90 after receiving reports of a person wounded. According to police, the man was shot at an apartment complex and ran to a nearby convenience store where he called for help. The San Antonio Police Department, the San Antonio Fire Department and EMS all answered the call. Police did not say why the man was targeted.
