UPDATE, April 21, 2020:A second resident of the Frank M. Tejeda Texas State Veteranās Home has died due to complications from COVID-19, according to the Floresville mayor.
At least 12 residents and five staff members have tested positive for the virus as of Tuesday afternoon, said Floresville Mayor Cissy Gonzalez-Dippel.
As of Monday morning, five staff members tested positive for the virus and 153 other employees are awaiting results.
