SAN ANTONIO ā The Witte Museum is offering a new in-person after school program for kids that will focus on museum explorations and outdoor play, a press release said Wednesday.
The parent-free program is for children ages 6-12 and will offer the opportunity to discover nature, science, and culture.
āIn a time of distance learning, the Witte Team recognizes the importance of being outside and learning with others, in a safe space,ā remarked Helen Holdsworth, Chief of Engagement at the Witte Museum.
āThe Witte Adventurers offers a flexible, fun and educational program that will include full exploration of the Witte and plenty of time outside, including some hikes into Brackenridge Park!āāWitte Adventurersā is available select Mondays through Thursdays during the fall season from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., the museum said.
