The coronavirus pandemic has put a kibosh on tons of events this year, like Fiesta and Wurstfest just to name a few, but in lieu of the annual 24-day exhibition, the State Fair of Texas is hosting a one-of-a-kind drive-thru experience. The drive-thru is expected to take 90 minutes once you enter the gate at Fair Park in Dallas. Fletchers corny dog, a State Fair favorite, will be on the menu at all Golden Chick restaurants through October 25.

With more than 200,000 attendees that come through over 10 days, the groups can raise much - even all - of the money they need to operate for the year. āBut not knowing whatās going on with this pandemic, itās really hard to see how weāre going to make money. Brit King, president of the Downtown Rotary Club of New Braunfels, said Wurstfest isnāt the biggest of its four fundraisers. The Wurstfest Association has said that fundraising plans to support the nonprofit organizations that normally work Wurstfest would be announced in the coming weeks.
