SAN ANTONIO – A man is in the hospital Friday morning after slamming his motorcycle into a telephone pole overnight, San Antonio police said.
The accident occurred just after 11 p.m. in the 1500 block of Fredericksburg Road, not far from N. Zarzamora and West Hildebrand Avenue on the city's North Side.
Police said the man told them that someone cut him off. That's when, police said, he lost control of his bike and hit the pole.
The man was taken to University Hospital with stomach pain and a possible broken hip by EMS.
The investigation is ongoing.
