SAN ANTONIO – A man is dead after being hit by multiple vehicles overnight, San Antonio police said Friday.
The accident happened just after 10 p.m. Thursday in the 6300 block of Interstate 10 east at Foster Road.
According to police, the man was walking across Interstate 10 and was hit by a pick-up truck. After the initial hit, police say, several other vehicles accidentally ran over the man.

The driver stopped to render aid but it was too late, police said.
Officials said they do not know why he walking on the highway.
The name of the victim has yet to be released.
