WATER POLO: Brennan girls knock off Clark, Alamo Heights and Boerne Champion boys set up third round matchup

The UIL’s inaugural high school water polo playoffs continued Saturday morning with the conclusion of the Area Round at Northside Aquatic Center. Ally Westendorf led the Brennan girls past Clark 12-7 to advance. In boys competition, Boerne Champion cruised past Warren and Alamo Heights defeated Brennan to set up a huge third-round matchup between the Chargers and Mules, while Clark knocked off Harlan in convincing fashion to punch their own tickets.
