H-E-B donates over 700,000 pounds of apples to food banks during Hunger Action Month

In honor of Hunger Action Month, the San Antonio Food Bank received a generous boost from H-E-B. The company donated more than 700,000 pounds of fresh apples to food banks across Texas, including San Antonio. Seventeen truckloads of apples arrived Thursday morning at Feeding Texas Network food banks. The San Antonio Food Bank emphasized that every contribution helps serve those in need.
