Vehicle robbery attempt ends with owner being shot, injured

San Antonio police say a man was trying to stop an attempted robbery on his own vehicle when he was shot by a suspect. The shooting happened just before midnight Saturday on Spring Dale Drive. Police said the man who was shot is in stable condition and is recovering at University Hospital. A search is still underway for the suspect.
