Man, woman arrested after attempting to escape traffic stop, crashing vehicle, BCSO says

Bexar County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested two people who fled a traffic stop and crashed on the highway on Thursday. Deputies say they tried to pull over 29-year-old Mark Monreal and 26-year-old Jessica Suarez on Pleasanton Road, but they didn't stop. Instead, they drove to I-35 and Highway 90, where they lost control and flipped over a guardrail, deputies said. The pair tried to run off but didn't get far. When deputies searched their vehicle, they found meth, marijuana, and three weapons, BCSO said. Monreal and Suarez face several charges following the chase and crash.
